Lead the Way | Wirral

Helping you build the life you

have always wanted with your dog

My Mission

Over the years, I’ve helped many dog guardians gain a better understanding of their dogs, establish clear communication, and create more harmonious households. I love revealing just how clever and capable dogs truly are, and watching that special connection between guardian and dog blossom.

Dog guardianship and training can be joyful, rewarding, and yes — fun! My mission is to empower you with practical, effective techniques that build trust, strengthen bonds, and deliver lasting results. I believe in transforming challenges into successes through patience, understanding, and respect for every unique canine-human partnership.

Let’s work together to bring out the very best in your dog — and maybe even discover a new best friend in the process.

About Me…

I’m Beki, and I live on the lovely Wirral Peninsula. I started Lead The Way in 2023, originally offering dog walking with a special focus on reactive and nervous dogs.

What began as a small side-hustle quickly grew into a full-time passion. I realised there was a real need for specialist support for those “trickier” cases — and I absolutely loved building bonds with more nervous dogs and helping guardians who would otherwise struggle to find support for their lovely pets.

In time, my work naturally expanded into training. I am currently a PACT student, with the aim to become a fully qualified ATI through the ABTC by early 2026. I’m also a certified Reactivity Specialist with the Dog Training College, and a proud member of the Pet Professional Guild.

Where it all started…

It was actually my very gorgeous Romanian rescue, Luca, who inspired it all.

Luca came to me scared and untrusting, both of people and most other dogs. We did not know much about his background, or even his age - but what we do is know how much progress he made over his time with us. Through lots of fun, positive training and co-operative care, Luca settled into life in rainy England and even made human and canine friends along the way.

Watching Luca’s transformation lit a spark in me. It inspired me to help other dogs find their confidence and comfort, and to support their guardians in building those strong, trusting bonds that make all the difference.
